This year’s Kumla Dinner & Harvest Sale will be hold on Sunday, December 4. It’s not too early to begin thinking about what you can contribute to the Harvest Sale. Harvest Sales begins at 1:00PM. Serving 11 am – 1pm.

Rally Sunday
Rally Sunday is September 11. Mark your calendars and plan to attend as we kick off a new Sunday School year at Bethany. The Board of Education is planning a lunch and lots of outdoor games for the whole family. We’ll also be holding our first Bible Challenge, focusing on the Old Testament Book of Jonah.
Estonian Mission Team
Our Estonian Mission team will be leaving Bethany on Wednesday, Aug. 17 to being this year’s mission trip. In past years, many of you have sent financial donations with the team to be used by the Tartu Academy of Theology. Anyone wishing to make a donation this year should bring it to Pastor Kathy or the church office by August 15.

Big Thank You
Volunteers are always needed to facilitate group songs, games, snacks, Bible study, skits, and decorating. We had a great turn out of volunteers and kids for this year’s Vacation Bible School. Thank you for your faithfulness. You were a blessing!

The trustees are encouraging all of you to consider online giving as an option. Advantage of setting up automatic weekly or monthly giving frees you from having to write a check every week and then to remember to bring it to church with you.
